His leadership experience includes roles at a NYC hedge fund, Lockheed Martin, and CFO of a fast-growing consulting firm. 

Today, Chris leverages this diverse background to drive impactful results at Quadrant Advisory, helping clients navigate complex financial landscapes and achieve lasting success.

Ramsey is a former naval aviator and small business owner with a passion for innovative problem-solving, team-building, strategic partnerships, and operational excellence. Ramsey began his career as a Marine Officer and F/A-18 pilot, serving 11-years on active duty with training experiences all across the country and three deployments that took him all over the world. After finishing his active duty as an F/A-18 instructor pilot in Miramar, CA, Ramsey moved east to Washington, DC and transitioned to the Marine Corps Reserves where he continues his service part-time supporting the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program at the Pentagon. Following active duty, Ramsey teamed up with his brother in the ownership of a manufacturing company called Whitman Controls, where he refined his skills in operations, product development, marketing, sales, customer success, and leadership. Most importantly, he learned the foundational value of how a stronger understanding of the company’s finance and accounting functions can drive greater operational efficiencies and overall profitability. Following the successful sale of Whitman Controls, Ramsey joined the leading education technology company, EVERFI, where he helped develop new strategic business partners who benefited from EVERFI’s novel Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) subscription model. Through this experience, he learned how technology can be leveraged to provide online digital education programs efficiently and effectively at scale. Ramsey is a versatile leader with a dynamic background and he leverages his diverse experiences both internally and externally for Quadrant Advisory.

Bio:

Jackie brings over twenty years of experience in Big Four (EY) and top ten public accounting along with a Controller position at a Fortune 50 company (ALCOA). Jackie comes to Quadrant Advisory from CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA-8th largest public accounting firm) where she directed the financial management for multiple clients in the for-profit and nonprofit space, improving the accuracy, timeliness and reliability of financial reports. Jackie lived in Europe four years and understands cultural as well as currency differences, and served multinational clients at CLA and is familiar with multi-currency accounting.

Brooke Marrelli brings over 10 years of business management experience to Quadrant Advisory. Brooke has led accounting and finance operations for a variety of firms, most recently as the lead finance coordinator for a fast-growing company in the global entertainment industry, where she managed all accounts payable and accounts receivable activity along with general day to day accounting functions. Before that, Brooke led operations, event planning, and project management functions for a cybersecurity firm based in Northern Virginia.

Brooke brings a keen knowledge of internal processes, client coordination, quality control, and general operations to both internal and external stakeholders.  She uses these experiences and skillsets in her role as Operations Manager at Quadrant Advisory.

As a seasoned Chief Financial Officer, Jeanie has demonstrated an exceptional ability to lead financial operations, develop strategic plans, and mentor finance teams in diverse industries. She has extensive experience working with healthcare, insurance, nonprofits, and educational institutions (both nonprofit and for-profit), highlighting her versatile and comprehensive financial acumen.

Jeanie graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. in Professional Accountancy, with Distinction. Her career is marked by her expertise in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, cash flow management, and compliance. She has a proven track record of improving department operations, maximizing profits, and implementing robust financial controls. Chris is a CFO Advisor with over 20 years of experience in finance, marketing, and business development.

He brings a uniquely broad perspective, having worked with hundreds of companies across various sectors and geography. Chris has completed fractional CFO assignments for companies in health and wellness, consumer package goods, technology, cannabis, insurance, and non-profits.

Chris has earned multiple degrees with honors, including a JD in Corporate Law and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Pittsburgh. He also holds a BS in Political Science from Rutgers University and was admitted to practice law in Maryland.

Chris leverages his MBA, JD, and diverse experience to bring unique ideas to the table and is very effective at helping companies and non-profits get to the next level.

Bio:

Jack Hollerbach, CPA, MBA, CES, CGMA, is an adjunct professor of Accounting and Finance at the American University Kogod Graduate School of Business and previously taught at the Johns Hopkins Carey School of Business. He founded Hollerbach & Associates LLC in 2000 to provide management support to companies experiencing growth, expansion, or change. As the founding CEO of HarVest Bank of Maryland, Jack developed its vision and business plan, growing the bank to nearly $240 million in assets within five years. He has held CFO roles in public and private companies and gained extensive banking experience at institutions such as Citibank and Maryland National Bank. Jack has worked with clients across industries, including financial institutions, non-profits, tech companies, contractors, and development firms.

He earned his BBA and MBA from the Iona College Hagan School of Business and a Certificate in Environmental Studies from Johns Hopkins University. Jack is an active member of professional organizations, including the AICPA and Maryland Association of CPAs, and has served on boards such as the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and the Maryland Chamber of Commerce. His accolades include the Smart CEO Award and the Maryland Association of CPAs Statewide Public Service Award. Shabir Ahmad is a Controller at Quadrant Advisory with over 13 years of accounting experience, specializing in nonprofit and commercial organizations. Before joining Quadrant Advisory, he served as a Manager at BDO LLP for six years and as a Senior at CliftonLarsonAllen LLP, where he provided accounting and financial support to more than 40 nonprofit clients. His expertise includes financial statement preparation, grant management, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with GAAP and FASB standards. He has also led teams delivering outsourced accounting services, assisted with audits, and implemented cloud-based accounting systems like Sage Intacct, Anybill, and Bill.com to streamline financial processes and enhance collaboration for clients.

Shabir holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Management from George Mason University and has lived in the DMV area for over 20 years.

Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, traveling, fitness, and sports. A passionate cricket fan, Shabir participates in local cricket leagues, combining his love for the sport with community involvement.

Brian’s technical proficiency spans a wide range of financial software solutions, and he has a proven track record in managing complex system implementations to drive organizational efficiency. His industry experience includes renewable energy, clinical research, and manufacturing, where he has developed scalable systems and strategies that foster growth and operational success.

Brian earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Elon University, which laid the foundation for his distinguished career.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Brian serves as the Head Men’s Golf Coach at Penn State Brandywine, where he combines his leadership abilities with his passion for sports. He enjoys spending quality time with his family, including his two children and two dogs. He has worked closely with SMBs, startups, PE-backed companies, and Fortune 500 firms in sectors like SaaS, Technology, Management Consulting, Professional Services, Automotive, Aerospace, Cryptocurrency, E-commerce, Consumer Goods, and Healthcare.

With a strong focus on operational efficiency, Andy has led numerous initiatives to streamline processes and manage post-acquisition integrations, adding over $15 million in value through optimized systems and cost-saving measures. Recently, he has held roles as a Fractional Controller and CFO, assisting startups, Series A and B companies, and PE-backed firms with financial reporting, month-end processes, cash flow forecasting, KPI implementation, and scaling strategies.

In a previous role as Global Operations Controller for Apex Tool Group, LLC, Andy managed the finance operations of a $200M business unit across multiple regions. His dedication to delivering impactful financial insights and fostering growth has earned him a solid reputation as a finance leader.

Tom Haus, originally from Baltimore, MD, has spent much of his adult life in Winston-Salem, NC. A graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, Tom earned his CPA designation and began his career in auditing with Deloitte & Touche and Ernst & Young.

Following his public accounting experience, he transitioned to private industry, working with companies across logistics, manufacturing, software, and retail, with extensive experience in the software-as-a-service sector.

Outside of work, Tom enjoys golfing, fishing, boating, and traveling. He and his wife, Molly, have two sons, Jack and Sam. A notable accomplishment, Tom won a national lacrosse championship during his time at UNC.

Bill brings over 20 years of finance and accounting experience, with specialized expertise in nonprofit accounting and business analytics. Bill is passionate about empowering organizations to better understand their financial data by leveraging technology to “tell the story” behind the numbers.

Bill began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) before transitioning into industry roles, where he developed expertise in financial planning, corporate accounting, and internal audit. Prior to joining Quadrant, he served as Director of Data Visualization at Your Part-Time Controller (YPTC), where he led firm-wide initiatives to help nonprofit organizations nationwide effectively interpret and utilize their financial data.

A licensed CPA in Pennsylvania, Bill also holds the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation. He is an active member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs (PICPA). Bill earned his MBA from La Salle University and his bachelor’s degree in Accounting and International Business from Penn State University.

An accomplished thought leader in the nonprofit sector, Bill has spoken at national industry events, presented on webinars, and appeared on multiple episodes of The Nonprofit Show by the American Nonprofit Academy.

Bill resides in Pennsylvania with his wife and two children. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and spending quality time with friends and family.

Melissa is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over 13 years of experience providing accounting and leadership to a variety of organizations. Her professional background includes extensive experience working for large public CPA firms, where she performed audits, reviews, and compilations for companies with revenues ranging from $10 million to $500 million. Her expertise spans manufacturing, distribution, restaurants, supermarkets, pharmaceutical companies, and professional service industries. She has also prepared financial statements for privately held companies, developed cash flow projections and budgets, and worked closely with cost accounting concepts. She stays updated on evolving U.S. GAAP regulations as a member of the NYSCPA and its auditing standards committee.

Melissa earned her MBA in Accounting from St. Joseph’s University in Patchogue, New York. She currently resides in Long Island, New York, with her spouse and two children.

In her free time, Melissa enjoys traveling, often visiting Disney World with her kids or exploring new destinations she has yet to experience.

Sean has delivered financial statement audit, review, and compilation services, along with financial consulting across various industries. His expertise is particularly focused within the technology, real estate, and manufacturing/distribution sectors. He has significant experience helping businesses address complex issues, such as revenue recognition, internal control system design, and financial reporting. Known for his commitment to adding value, he enjoys partnering with businesses on their unique journeys.

Dolores is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) with over 40 years of experience in finance and operations management, having held roles such as Director of Finance and Administration, Controller, and Accounting Manager for manufacturing and distribution companies.

She has been instrumental in ERP implementations to streamline and automate processes. A lifelong learner, Dolores holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and an MBA from Murray State University, a Master of Science in Accounting (MAcc) from Liberty University, and a Master of Business Informatics (MBI) from Northern Kentucky University. In addition to her CMA certification, she is also Certified in Strategy & Competitive Analysis (CSCA) by the Institute of Management Accountants.

Originally from California, Dolores relocated to northern Kentucky (Cincinnati metro) with her family 20 years ago, where she now enjoys sharing her knowledge by teaching Financial and Management Accounting at a local community college to help students understand and use financial statements.

Outside of her professional commitments, she enjoys traveling, reading, taking classes, and spending time with her three adult daughters, teenage grandson, and close friends.

She has worked with major corporate firms, including Deloitte and KPMG, and has also served as a Certified Soft-skills Trainer for multinational companies like Amazon. An ardent reader, Nikita is passionate about training professionals in both technical and soft skills development, and the book 7 Habits of Highly Effective People has significantly influenced her professional approach. She believes in building strong relationships with her clients and team members to create a synergy that enhances every assignment.

Nikita also dedicates her time to volunteer work, providing training for various NGOs that support underprivileged communities. A fun fact about Nikita is that she likes to start her day with fitness and yoga.

Angela, a seasoned accounting professional with over two decades of experience, began her career at the Big 5 firm Arthur Andersen and has since worked with some of the top companies in the United States.

In 2010, she launched her own business, offering bookkeeping and accounting services to small and medium-sized businesses nationwide. Angela has over 15 years of expertise with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop, and she shares her knowledge through courses on Udemy and Skillshare, helping small business owners master QuickBooks. Known for her “teach a man to fish” approach, Angela is committed to delivering exceptional customer service to her clients.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Accounting from Florida Metropolitan University in Orlando, FL. Angela currently resides in Cleveland, TN, with her husband and their two cats, Bella and Gracie.

She enjoys kayaking, camping, and various crafting projects. Additionally, she contributes to her community through Habitat for Humanity’s Women’s Build.

Neha is proficient in several accounting software programs, including QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Xero, Zoho Books, ADP, Bill.com, and Paychex.

Dedicated to giving back, she is a regular blood donor. In her free time, Neha enjoys painting and playing badminton, cricket, and chess.

Kevin Friel

Kevin is a licensed CPA with over a decade of experience in corporate and not-for-profit accounting, as well as auditing and tax.

A graduate of the University of Delaware, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a minor in Management Information Systems. Throughout his career, Kevin has applied his expertise in MS Access and other Microsoft Office programs to streamline and enhance efficiency within various accounting processes. His extensive software knowledge also includes QuickBooks, Oracle, Bill.com, and several other accounting systems.

Kevin resides in South Jersey with his wife and two daughters. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, golfing, hiking, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Ron Ducarpe is a veteran accountant and businessman with decades of experience in providing accounting and management leadership to a variety of organizations. After gaining years of experience working for CPA firms, Ron broke away and founded his own accounting firm. As the CEO of this firm, Ron and his staff provided accounting, consulting, and management services to small and medium-sized businesses across many industries for over a decade, as well as serving individual clients. During this time, Ron also took on executive roles for two of the firm’s consulting clients in the fields of home healthcare and pharmaceuticals.

Ron’s experiences in home healthcare led him to be a founding member of a new software company that specialized in the development and sales of home healthcare software. Ron was an integral part of developing user interfaces and financial workflows for the software. Once launched, Ron became CFO for this medical SaaS company and guided its financial and overall operations for over 12 years.

Ron received his Bachelor of Accounting degree from the University of Central Florida. He currently lives in Orlando, FL, with his wife of 28 years and their three grown children. Ron and his wife are known theme-park junkies. During their spare time, they can usually be found at Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, or relaxing on the beach.

Francis Parra recently joined Quadrant Advisory as a Senior Associate. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance from George Mason University and brings a blend of experience from independent consulting and the private sector.

Previously, she served as a Business Manager in a busy psychotherapy practice, where she managed day-to-day operations, financial reporting, payroll, and HR functions. In an earlier role as a Senior Consultant in BDO’s Advisory practice, she provided outsourced accounting support to commercial and government contracting clients, including family-owned and small-to-medium businesses across various industries.

During the pandemic, Francis took a break to focus on her family, staying home with her energetic boys. Originally from Nicaragua, she has lived most of her life in Northern Virginia, where she currently resides with her husband, three children, and their dog. She enjoys staying active and traveling to explore new cultures. Francis is enthusiastic about her role at Quadrant Advisory, eager to bring her expertise, learn new skills, and provide high-value service to clients.

Mayella Magalong has recently joined Quadrant Advisory as an Associate, bringing over a decade of finance and accounting experience to the team. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Polytechnic University of the Philippines and is a Certified Public Accountant in the Philippines. She currently resides and works remotely in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila, Philippines.

Mayella began her career as an external auditor for Ernst & Young Philippines, and later transitioned to private accounting practice. She has held various positions such as Senior Accountant and Senior Accounts Payable Team Leader for a US recruitment company.  Additionally, she has earned her QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor and Xero Advisor certificates, allowing her to service small businesses in the US and Canada.

In her free time, Mayella enjoys watching Italian, Korean, and Japanese food videos on YouTube and replicating the dishes herself. She is also an avid traveler and is excited to travel overseas again now that more borders are open.

Brandi Davis, a CPA Candidate, has over nine years of accounting experience spanning Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Full Cycle Bookkeeping, Payroll, and Payroll Taxes.

She specializes in a variety of industries, including residential and commercial real estate, childcare, manufacturing, and nonprofits. A native of Houston, Texas, Brandi graduated from Texas Southern University in 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.

Shefali Mantri is a Chartered Accountant (CA), a credential equivalent to CPA, with over five years of experience in finance, accounting, and auditing. She has built expertise across a range of industries, focusing especially on U.S.-based clients and managing accounts in bookkeeping, financial analysis, GAAP compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and risk assessment.

Shefali began her career gaining foundational experience in statutory audits and financial reporting, providing her with a strong technical base that supports her current roles in financial consulting and client management. She holds a Master’s degree in Accounting, which further complements her professional skills.

Beyond her work, Shefali enjoys practicing Zentangle art, a creative and calming activity that enhances her focus and peace of mind. She also has a passion for traveling and exploring new countries, always seeking fresh cultural experiences that enrich both her personal and professional journey.

Suhani Bapna is a skilled Staff Accountant and a qualified Chartered Accountant (equivalent to a CPA) with over five years of experience in accounting, auditing, taxation, balance sheet analysis, account reconciliations, and consultancy.

She has a strong background in formulating and implementing GAAP accounting policies, procedures, and standards, and is currently responsible for managing U.S. clients’ bookkeeping while ensuring effective and clear communication. Suhani’s creativity extends beyond her professional life, as she has a passion for art and craft, using her imagination to explore new techniques and styles.

In addition to the CA qualification, Suhani completed a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree, which provided a comprehensive background in business principles, economics, and accounting. This academic foundation laid the groundwork for further specialization in the field.

Her dedication to making a difference is evident through her volunteer work at an orphanage, where she organizes art and craft sessions and helps provide essential utilities, enriching the lives of those she serves while gaining a deeper appreciation for life’s simple joys.

John Patrick Almario, also known as “Pat” is one of the newest associates of Quadrant Advisory. He currently resides and works remotely from Cavite Province in the Philippines. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing Management from Far Eastern University. He is currently taking up his Master’s degree in Business Administration in De La Salle University, Philippines.

Pat has a strong corporate marketing background as he worked as a marketing associate for several years in different companies of different industries specializing in the Digital marketing landscape. He also has some experience in account management and technical training.

He is currently involved with a non-profit and religious organization in a small community back in his country where they initiate activities that aim to lead them to a godly living.

During his spare time, he loves to watch movies and eat..
